Still, I must get a dozen people directed to my blog each week simply because they are searching for the meaning of “January 2 2009- DecemSarsota, Flordia/Lovell, Maine. Now Ive tried reading Dark Tower when I was in high school, but had to force myself through the pages and never managed to finish it. But I’ve seen this notion of dating the writing of a book not only in other Stephen King books, but countless books by other authors as well. So after looking for book recommendations in this subreddit, I decided to try 11/22/63, and was instantly hooked. This book made it up to my top 3 favorites list by King (placing at 3) and is probably my favorite book of 2011 (if not tied with Shutter Island). James Franco (Jake Epping)Sarah Gadon (Sadie Dunhill)George MacKay (Bill Turcotte)Chris Cooper (Al Templeton)Cherry Jones (Marguerite Oswald)Daniel Webber. I’m surprised that others are perplexed by this. I could be wrong, but when I saw them, I simply thought they represented the dates (and places) during which Stephen King was writing the book. A few people have even asked what those dates mean? Why are they there? What have they to do with the book?

His epic works The Dark Tower, It, Pet Sematary, Doctor Sleep, and Firestarter are the basis for major motion pictures, with It now the highest-grossing horror film of all time. You would not believe how many people arrive at my blog searching for “January 2 2009- DecemSarsota, Flordia/Lovell, Maine” which appears at the very end of Stephen King’s time travel novel, 11/23/63. His novel 11/22/63 was named a top ten book of 2011 by The New York Times Book Review and won the Los Angeles Times Book Prize for Mystery/Thriller.
